ESISTO - FINEST CASHMERE FOR AUTUMN AND WINTER 2020

Even though we wish that summer would stay with us a little longer, we can already feel the coming autumn in the morning and in the evening. If it's still too early for a thick winter coat, warm cashmere is the perfect choice. The thick wool of the cashmere goat is ideal for keeping us warm in cooler temperatures.

The German-based designer label Esisto shows us a successful mix of classic cuts and fresh, youthful silhouettes in this year's collection. Turtlenecks and stand-up collars are not only in vogue, they also replace scarves in cool weather. The warming collars are not cut too narrow, but fit comfortably close without being too constricting.

The classic V-neck jumper is also a must-have for any season. At Esisto it gets a modern interpretation this autumn, in a casual cut with side slits and of course made of 100% pure cashmere. This jumper can be combined as the mood takes you, sometimes elegantly with a trendy Bubi collar and glen-check pants, or urban and modern with leather leggings and sneakers.

Another must-have for the A/W2020 season is the knitted dress. Here, it's the simple and straight cuts that are in vogue. Accents are then rather set with a statement necklace, belts or a matching poncho. The cashmere knit dress from Esisto wraps us in soft cashmere and is guaranteed to lift our spirits in a gloomy mood as soft as it is knitted.

In terms of colour, the collection remains elegant and classic this year. Dark olive, anthracite, soft beige and grey-melange dominate the colour palette. My favourite colour of the season? Definitely olive, it's a perfect match for the upcoming collections and wonderfully understated yet such an exciting shade.
